What a week it's been! So much cool stuff has happened and now we are officially two days into the most important meeting of our time...
On the eve of the Copenhagen summit thousands of New Zealanders came out on to the streets in Auckland and Wellington. We sent a powerful message to John Key and over 100 other world leaders who'll be in Copenhagen. Watch the video here.
Their task is daunting but failure is not an option. We are the last generation with a chance to make a difference.
The world community must work together to find a way to reduce our global emissions and New Zealand must play it's part but - so far - we've only committed to a limp 10-20% target; not nearly good enough!
Over 180,000 New Zealanders have Signed On for a strong 40% by 2020 emissions reduction target. Yesterday we published an image of John Key made up of 3,958 of those names as an ad in the Dominion Post so he's certainly getting the message!
But let's not let the pressure off just yet ... 180,000 is fantastic but we can do better - please take 5 mins to invite your friends and family to Sign On, share the Sign On link on Facebook, and write a letter to the editor supporting 40 per cent by 2020!
